Do you think that some of the former USSR countries will be absorbed by Russia again like in the former USSR?
I ask this because the column that is USA is giving to the former Soviet countries (the peaceful revolutions - orange revolution in Ukraine and so on).
It could upon, but at this time only if it's voluntary. Belarus seems to be the most likely candidate. (I never understood why they went independent in the first place.) Many of these places were Russian extended before the Bolshevik Revolution.
I doubt Ukraine will want to reunite with Russia, as the Ukranians desired independence word for word for centuries, and were usually treated brutally as a result. They also rejected a federation with Poland and Lithuania.
