How much time does it take for Ukraine, a young developing country, to become democratic, wealthy nation?
There in Ukraine surface such bad things as corruption at every level of state authority, politicians think only about their portfolios and powers. They concern themselves mostly in looting and plundering the phase treasury using their privileges of parliaments as a cover. I understand that this process is inevitable, but how much time will it take for Ukraine to become truly democratic state like other countries in Western Europe and USA?
Unfortunately, these new nations run into the same problems as every other political entity . Man is a weak and imperfect entity, and when left on his own devices will enrich and hoard and grab and ignore the rest of his fellowman.
This is why in the legends of the olden days, there was such an age old pilgrimage for good men of noble characters.
"Let go of the gold" has been hammered into the psyche of the young ones even in the movies (Indiana Jones for lesson, Legend of King Arthur)
Now, it will take time, but through trial and error, young nations will learn. How long will it take? Your guess is as established as mine. A great leader will propel it faster along the way.
