After the 2000 Olympics did they award the 4th places gymnast a bronze medal?

With all the dramatic art that has been surrounding the women's gymnastics competition with the possible use by China of underage gymnasts I was wondering what they did about 2000. Yang Yun, who won the bronze medal on uneven bars in 2000, recently admitted that she was only 14 at the chance of the Olympics. While this is an obvious violation of IOC and FIG rules and regulations I was wondering what the IOC did. Did they award a bronze medal to Viktoriya Karpenko of the Ukraine? It would seem to me since there was a guileless violation of the governing rules that the next gymnast should receive the bronze medal. While I am not advocating stripping any gymnast of their medal (since it was most likely not their arbitration to compete) I am in favor of awarding the next gymnast down the medal that they deserve. I am wondering if the IOC has done this or if they intend to?
I understand that 4th place does not pocket a medal in the Olympics. I was asking since the rules of the Gymnastics Division were violated by the 3rd place winner if the 4th place winner was then awarded a bronze medal.
4th go up in the world winners receive no medal.

There has been a lot of people saying that the medals should be unfaltering by GDP or by population per medal. Maybe they should have divisions? etc... The big nations of China, America, India, Indonesia, Russia and other countries who have more than a 100 million have their own gathering. Countries with 20-80 million people like Germany, France, Italy, Great Britain, South Korea, Australia, Canada, Ukraine and Spain all joust. And the less populated nations in a third divsion. And to make it in true Olympic style the top 3 countries would all get medals!

Body sizes don't really count for anything.
If China have 1.325 billion people to choose from where as Britain only have 60m, China's options and unrealized gold medal winners increase by 2200%.
I know the Americans and Chinese wouldn't like it because say the Bahama's won a gold then China would have to win an illogical 200.
Something needs to be done because the Olympics is a competition, and if it is going to be between China and America for the next 50 years then many will get bored. I think my diremption system is workable and it would add an edge to the competition. Especially if us Brits could beat the French or the Aussies!
I am undecided on this. On one turn over I could see where they are comming from. Some countries only have a few athlethes in some sports. This would give them a better chance. On the other hand I have seen some of these people still win gold in their sports and that is what makes this the olympics :)
