How come Chile military wear WW2 German style uniforms and helmets?

I was virtuous watching a Chile military parade on youtube and they were literally wearing nazi germany style uniforms. The only other territory I ever saw do that was Ireland, but they switched to American style uniforms back in the 70s
by the way I'm not implying Chile is pro nazi or anything. I just think it is eccentric considering the uniform is kind of old and most countries have modern uniforms
here is the video http://youtube.com/watch?v=NRXeqvC7KmA
When the Chilean army was organized during the the nineteen century take as miniature the Prussian army (German)from the organization, the discipline and also the uniform. Anyway, the Prussian style uniform used by the Chilean army is only acclimatized in formal event, such parades and other and they use camouflage uniforms for regular or combat activities. The Chilean army is the trounce organized and most modern in south America, matching whit NATO standards. The old fashion uniform is part of the traditions and is very pointless to think that they have to change the uniform because it resemble to the WWII German uniform.

Did anybody in the German army opposed the massacre of the Jews during the Holocaust?

I was wondering that if some people in the German army, during WW2, objected to the Conflagration. I have been watching movies and documentaries, and reading books about the Holocaust and I want to know if some of the German military personal helped some of the Jews during the interval.
I supporter spooky's answer. Both my Grandfathers were part of the German Army. Most of the German Army personnel were "drafted" (not to say: pressured into serving), and they had first of all no resentments with Jewish people (one of my grandpas paramount friends was jewish. They apparently emigrated in 35. At least they talked of it, secretly, and than were gone one day, so we all hope they did; my other grandpas relations got into trouble for sticking with their jewish business partners, rather than switching to ones with other religious beliefs), and both of them had to fight for the German Army.
So, as far as "military personnel" goes: I pick a lot of people did not actually and actively know about what was going on. Remember: they were not getting straight answers and real facts. It was a dictatorship, they were told and fed what the regime wanted them to know and belief. For a long time they were told they were winning the war when in authenticity, they were all underfed, under-clothed, running low on ammunition and so on. And they were not home to witness what was going on. They probably where told about it in letters that reached them somewhere far away, months later.
Those who did distinguish and opposed it probably did what they could or were suppressed/ frightened into not doing anything.
I know only from what my grandfathers have told me that when they went into war prisoner-set sail, they were all shown movies and given talks and evidence. Many of their comrades were shocked, threw up, cried, unbelieving they had fought for something like this to go on. Many refused to have the courage of one's convictions pretend it, saying the allied forces were telling stories to subdue them. They were winning the war, after all, weren't they? It took them weeks and months to withstand it. They were young people, indoctrinated through school and dictatorship media. It took them a long time to come to terms with what exceptionally happened. They did not have the information we now have and can use. And there was peer pressure, old rivalries, being a prisoner themselves...
There were people who knew and actively participated, there were people who knew and didn't do anything. There were people who actively helped, but... the preponderance of people was, if not ignorant, too scared or preoccupied (after all, a war was going on) to have a real look and put the pieces together.
That still does not mean "German" is a synonym for "Nazi".
