This themselves didn't even show up in front of the board, he just sent in his solution. I also heard that he declined the medal and he said that he'll pick out another unsolved one to answer too. Anybody knows who this is?

I maintain you are referring to Grigori Perelman. He rejected a very large monetary prize. He lives with his mother in Moscow (I about). See ref below.

Joke - The Russian Wrestler

A Russian and a Redneck wrestler were set to six-sided off for the Olympic gold medal.
Before the final match, the Redneck wrestler's trainer came to him and said 'Now, don't forget all the into we've done on this Russian. He's never lost a match because of this 'pretzel' hold he has. Whatever you do, do not let him get you in that hold! If he does, you're finished.'

The redneck nodded in acknowledgment.

As the facsimile started, the Redneck and the Russian circled each other several times, looking for an opening. All of a sudden, the Russian lunged forward, grabbing the Redneck and wrapping him up in the dreaded pretzel involve.

A sigh of disappointment arose from the crowd and the trainer buried his face in his hands, for he knew all was lost. He couldn't pay attention to the inevitable happen.

Suddenly, there was a long, high pitched scream, then a cheer from the crowd and the trainer raised his eyes scarcely in time to watch the Russian go flying up in the air. His back hit the mat with a thud and the Redneck collapsed on top of him, making the pin and winning the match.

The trainer was astounded. When he for all time got his wrestler alone, he asked 'How did you ever get out of that hold? No one has ever done it before!'

The wrestler answered 'Well, I was ready to give up when he got me in that hold but at the last moment, I opened my eyes and saw this twins of testicles right in front of my face. I had nothing to lose so with my last ounce of strength, I stretched out my neck and bit those babies just as in the red as I could.'

The trainer exclaimed 'That's what finished him off?'

'Not really. You'd be amazed how strong you get when you bite your own nuts.

Wings over Russia

IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 is strictly speaking a getaway-simulator, and as such has a following of middle-aged men (often single) who spend a fortune on peripherals including the very expensive CH covey of grouse-sticks, rudder pedals and TrackIR head-to-screen view synchronization hardware. The cupboard their wives put up with them to keep their computers and small fortune of joysti- I mean, simulation instruments- is where they sit for several hours on a weekend evening, engrossed in flying allege aeroplanes as realistically as possible.

This image is a sad one, but this is only half accurate when it comes to IL-2. IL-2 was originally envisioned to be a simulation of the Russian front during the minute world war, featuring only a single flyable aircraft – the IL-2 fighter-bomber. During the course of its development this grew to encompass a emcee of several flyable aircraft including Yaks, Messerschmitts, Fokkewulfs, and even the lend-lease P-38s and Hawker Hurricanes.

The output I have before me Is a hybrid of both the original IL-2, as well as the Forgotten Battles expansion pack (adding several maps and several more flyable aeroplanes,) the  Pacific Fighters burgeoning pack (adding several maps and aeroplanes from the pacific theatre, allowing the player to fly as the Americans, Commonwealth and Japanese forces,) and the new 1946 increase pack (including yet more new maps, a host of experimental aircraft, as well as a “what-if?” campaign where in the war continues into 1946 allowing these conjectural aircraft to quite literally get off the ground and duke it out in the sky.)

1946 scores a point in value for money right off the bat – on tap in stores and on steam for around £12, you get a myriad of aircraft, maps to fly in and both dynamic and static (explained later) campaigns for the several forces offered. Fancy to fly as a newly enlisted Finnish recruit? Or perhaps as an Australian  flight-leader flying torpedo runs against Japanese shipping? Or fly the jet-powered ME-262 over the Russian steppe? All admissible with this beefy package.
