Hello everyone. I am a habitual engineer and i want to learn Russian. I am working in an international company and in the near future we will need qualified workers who speaks russian as a transpacific language. By the way i need russian friends to be in contact to make some practice. Does anyone want to help me? :)
Wow, jewiejewberg only impressed me with his knowledge of Russian swearing words. I hope you intend to learn more than that. Buy some sort of materials to learn Russian (I heard Rosetta Stone is fair well). It always a good idea to find a person you can converse with on the phone or in person. Talking with native speakers is a big help in erudition a language. Good luck!

Where did the russian language originate from?

I separate this is a random question but I was listening to a song that was russian and I've heard that Russian is one of the hardest languages to learn. So I was wondering what made it so unique that it became one of the harder languages and I was belief most languages originated from something and changed from region to region so I was wondering where it originated from.
Does anyone know where Russian language originated from and why its so pragmatic to learn?
Russian belongs to the Slavic coterie of Indo-European languages, same as most other European languages.

It's not more unyielding to learn than any other non related language to prospective learners.
