How far was the Nazi-Soviet Pact of 1939 responsible for causing war in Europe? Explain your answer (10)?

Accept the blame for the following question. Remember to hit a level 4 or above you need to explain why the nazi-soviet pact was a cause, and then explain why other factors were causes too.

The Nazi-Soviet Pact of 1939 was the least guilty act that caused the war in Europe, which became the Second World War. This act merely bought time for the Nazis and gave them some assurance that when they invaded Poland they would not have to monomachy on two fronts, nor would they have to fight the Russians.

I am not required by answering questions on Yahoo! Answers to hit any levels, and I do not need to delineate any other factors since they are not needed. Remember when asking questions to ask politely, and then thank those who do give you answers.

What was the Nazi-Soviet Pact supposed to do? How did the war become a world war?

I lack very short and simple answer for high school. Please make me understand.

Also known as the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact (Aug. 23 1939), this was a non hostility agreement between Germany and Russia. In the event that one country became entangled in a war, the other would remain neutral.

The Pact also divided land in eastern Europe and the Balkans between Russia and Germany.

The pact was an underhanded essay to keep the Nazis from fighting a two front war as long as possible. The Nazi's ultimate goal was the destruction of Russia, but they were wary of France and England intervening.

The war officially started when Germany invaded Poland in September 1939 (about 2-3 weeks after the Nazi Soviet pact). After a few weeks, France and England declared war on Germany. And, it was all downhill from there.

Nazi-Soviet Pact - Essay

Some have said that the Nazi-Soviet Pact was the celibate most important reason for the start of the Second World War. Would you agree with this judgement? Explain your answer. Propose Agree- Hitler gained more power by combining forces with Stalin, It forced Britain to fulfil Hitler Ultimatum, France and Britain had to protect Poland like they agreed. Disagree- The weakening of the Confederation Of Nations allowed Hitler to break the terms of the Treaty of Versailles, lack of appeasement in the first place, no state trusted one another, Hitler would probably have caused a war no matter how he went about expanding ( gaining Lebenstraum (living rank ) for his people)   The reasons that this was the single most important reason for the start of the Second World War was that it gave Hitler major security. He suddenly did not have to worry about the eastern front, about another power attacking him. The agreement allowed him to be able to weild more power in that he had the help of the Russian army when deciding to invade Poland, which led to the Second World War.     Moreover, when Britain showed no signs of attempting to enjoin Stalin from agreeing with Hitler's terms, Stalin was forced, on behalf of his people, and personal greed, to verge on with Hitler, help him carve up Poland and, in reward, recieve more land in the east that Hitler didnt demand. The invasion of Poland, due to the Nazi-Soviet pact being made, was what caused World War 2 to begin as Britain and France had sworn to ease Poland when Hitler did invade. It was the decision of the pact forcing Britain into a war they didnt want to fight, eventually causing them to out Hitler with and ultimatum as one last attempt to get the two countries to change their minds, that did lead to another World War.     However, this could be argued against as at the opportunity no countries trusted one another, and so eventually there...
