How many guys lay an egg for this? It's kind of pathetic.
there are ways to disappoint them.
1. never send money ever
2. get yourself a email address that has an IP address listed
example: hotmail
3. use a website:
http://www.geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm?GetLocation
If the bishopric the person is telling you he or she is from doesnt match what the ip address is telling you he or she is from they are lying to you. It isn't foolproof but it helps.
4. I would think lot of guys failure for the fake brides. If you dont know who they are and maybe you cant meet them in person right away how would you really know? You can say it is pathetic since you already understand, but what about the people who don't know? At least I tried to help them out a little.

A investor of mine joined one of those sites that is supposed to hook you up with a Russian single women looking for marriage. He writes back and forth to her and they are planing to handle soon. I wonder if it is a scam or will they get to meet. Anyone know anything on this subject, and Russian women out there care to respond.??

Most of them are after ONE matter , THE VISA !!! U & ur friend will get hurt. I had friends who went & married Russian girls , brought them to the U.S. & as soon as they got situated, they DUMPED the guy.
I made the same goof-up 3 years ago & didn't listen to all the advices of not to marry Russians. I met this pretty Russian Girl on the Internet. E.mailed each other for 6 months. I knock in love with her cauze she said ALL the THINGS a man LOVES to HEAR. I went & married her, brought her to the U.S., got her the Visa, treated her like a PRINCESS, then one day i get from work & she is NOT HOME & ALL her STUFF are gone. Searched & searched for her for months, untill i found her with another man, that she used to meet & belittle delete to in secret.
Fox & the Immigration Dep. did many REPORTS on TV, warning AMERICAN MEN not to FALL VICTIMS of the RUSSIAN GIRLS GAME OF LOVE & 90 % of the while she is just using u ,just to get to the WEST.
Our BARS/CLUBS are full of them now in the U.S. Most of them came the same way " MARRIAGE DESEPTION & Rogue ".
I think they SELL a BOOK in RUSSIA & BELARUSSIA of how to fool a WESTERN MAN into MARRYING U & what steps u should take to get ur papers & then get rid of him, because all of them seem to do the same PATERN , like a reproduction cat.
JUST STAY AWAY OR U WILL LOSE UR TIME, MONEY & SOONER THAN LATER HER TOO !!!

Two Russian Brides Jailed for Internet Marriage Fraud
Two Russian students, in borough of Yekaterinburg, have been jailed for committing matrimonial fraud with foreigners over the Internet.
One of the two fake brides, a 28-year-old, sent her pictures to distinct international matrimonial agencies and exchanged letters with several men from the US, Canada, and UK. The woman asked the men for money to arrange the sightsee to meet them in person. Once she had snatched $3,000 from the men, the communication was over.
The court sentenced both to prison terms in a minimum-certainty correctional labor facility. The 28-year-old was sentenced to 5 years and her partner got a 5.5 year quod term. - LINK
